Annual fundraiser grosses over $38,000 for early education programs
Brockton, Mass – Brockton Day Nursery held their 8th Annual Mardi Gras Madness Fundraiser on Saturday, March 8 at the Shaw’s Center in Brockton. This year’s major sponsors included: Avon Co-operative Bank (French Quarter Sponsor), Eastern Bank (Bourbon Street Sponsor), The Shaw’s Center (Bourbon Street Sponsor), WXBR (Bourbon Street Sponsor), The Enterprise (Bourbon Street Sponsor), Mutual Bank (Purple, Gold, and Green Sponsor), Comeau & Kelly Construction (Purple, Gold, and Green Sponsor), Partner’s Benefit Group, Inc. (Purple, Gold, and Green Sponsor), Kiessling Transit, Inc. Thanks to the generous contributions of numerous sponsors, the event grossed $38,527. All proceeds from this event will be used to support BDN’s afterschool, before school and early education programs.
Over 200 guests attended this signature event. Entertainment included Grand Marshals Baltazar and Melissa of Hot 96.9, DJ Rob Peters of Rob Peters Entertainment, The Soul Ambition Band (sponsored by Crescent Credit Union), Auctioneer, William M. Callahan of William M. Callahan Real Estate, and much more.
