Brockton, Mass – On Saturday, September 17, 2016 Brockton Day Nursery held a Community Playground Build Day where members of the Brockton and BDN community helped install brand new playground equipment. The equipment was purchased with grant funding provided by the Goddard Foundation. The development of the whole child, by offering age-appropriate curricula and enrichment activities, is the goal of BDN therefore it is important that our outdoor equipment is updated to foster the gross motor development of our students.
Special thanks to our numerous volunteers and to Stella’s Pizza, the Back Bay Bagel Company, Avon Cooperative Bank, Burgess Pest Control, Ray Henningson, John DeCosta, Jr. Lock & Security, Michael J. Raymond Certified Public Accountant, Rodman Auto Group, Whitney Building Products, and the Alpha Kapp Alpha, Inc. Psi Iota Omega Chapter for their food and monetary donations.
